Fornaio Fine Gastronomy, founded in September 2023 by Italian chef Alberto Gianati, pays tribute to family tradition and authentic Italian cuisine, inspired by his baker father. The concept brings together artisan bread, focaccia, fresh pasta, risotto, and Italian dishes, all made in house with high-quality ingredients. It's a space where bakery and restaurant coexist, offering a refined yet welcoming experience true to genuine Italian hospitality.
Chef Alberto Gianati
Born and trained in Italy, he brings over 40 years of international culinary experience. He began his career in prestigious kitchens in Milan and Siena, including Michelin-starred restaurants, before expanding across Asia and the Americas. He led acclaimed dining experiences at luxury hotels like Four Seasons Tokyo, Dallas, and Bangkok, where his restaurant Biscotti was named one of Condé Nast Traveller's "Ten Hottest Restaurants in the World." Today, as founder and executive chef of Fornaio Fine Gastronomy in Puerto Rico, he continues to elevate Italian cuisine with authenticity, creativity, and refinement.
